When I upload a new version of a song, do I lose the statistics for the old version?

This should be corrected. I have seen many posts about this issue. My feeling is that if people "like" a song they do this for it's content. The system should support a simple file replacement utility so we can provide our listeners with the latest mix or file upgrade without skewing the stats for that song.

If you have the Mega Song Storage premium service, replacing a song with a newer version will not reset the statistics. Without Mega Song Storage, replacing the song will not remove the points and plays associated with the old version of the song, but it will not associate them with the new version. In other words, statistically speaking, the two versions would be treated as different songs.

in other words i can upload a newer version of this song with different Publishing Credits and not cancel the previous version with the old publishing credits?
