Just click the "Play" link or "Play" button beside the song of your choice.
If you are having trouble with the player, make sure you are using the most up to date versions of your browser as well as Flash.

I am unable to get songs to play even after updating to the latest flash player version. Cleared cache and cookies. Formerly, I was able to play the music on my mac os 10.4.11 w/safari browser. Please advise. Thanks!

songs won't play-buffering does not even begin. -

My problem post was merged by Andrew Howell with "How do I play a song on Reverbnation?" I apologize for not making my problem post more clear. I have played songs in the past on Reverbnation, however, I can't get songs to play anymore. I HAVE updated to latest browser and flash player. I have cleared cache and cookies. I know how to activate the play button. The song appears in the radio player box with the message "buffering 0%" , but it never advances. Different songs won't play, regardless of artist. Please advise. Thanks.

I'm sorry, I don't have much more to offer. If you are unable to use Safari 5, then I would recommend using Firefox or a different browser.

Neal, Again, thanks for trying to troubleshoot this issue. I have installed firefox, used it to access your site, and still can't play the songs. I can play music on another music site, fyi...so it's not a problem w/my older mac being obselete.
-
I'm really at a loss unfortunately. We can't replicate the issue here on our Macs and I'm not seeing any other emails about it come in that aren't solved with the Flash update. Have you tried on a different machine?

Neal - Same question. I have latest Firefox and Flash. Clip appears to buffer just fine, audio appears to be playing as per the indicator, but no sound. Immediately switch to IE7 and load same clip, plays just fine. I'm running XPPro32-SP3. No other audio problems. Can play clips on YouTube, Quick Time, etc. Clearly some issue with coding (or used of certain codecs in Windows) is still going on with Reverbnation.

Hey guys.
We've been trying to reproduce this and haven't been able to. Can you give me a little more detail? What songs in particular are not working? Have they worked in the past? Does it seem to happen with any other computer issues (the system slowing down, pop ups, etc.)
Do you have any kind of extensions on Firefox? for example, Flashblock, Adblock, Javablock?
Thanks!

I've had this same problem for the past few months. I've been following the threads, searching for clues... given up time and time again!!!
I've got latest everything. OSX (10.6.6), Safari, Firefox, Flash (even tried 10.2 beta, but reverted to 10.1 after THAT didn't work(!))
I've cleared cookies, caches, reset (wipes out ALL passwords/logins/settings)
~That is FUN! (not)
What happens for me is that songs load into RN player [ReverbNation.com - Inline player [rn.iap.v2.07082310b56], buffers to 100%, but every time I press "play" it immediately reverts to "pause"... it will play a nanosecond worth of audio, and I can scrub to locations and hear that nano... if I press it a bunch I can barely make out a ch-ch-ch-op-op-op-ppy version.
Not quite sure why this is happening to such few people, and why in general. Every other flash-site works fine. YouTube FLV, Adobe sites, other facebook apps, so this is a real MacPuzzler! -
