Hi Natalie
Thanks for reminding me to update this question. We actually changed that policy about 2 weeks ago. Invalids still can not be removed from your account, but they no longer count towards your FanReach subscription totals. -
Unfortunately, we can not remove unavailable contacts from your FanReach.
We can not run the risk of these addresses being re-imported to your account, as our system was already dinged for them once, and the penalty the second time is more severe. It would jeopardize the deliverability of FanReach emails for all artists who use the program.
However, while your "unsubscribed" email totals show up in your "Total Contacts" number in the Manage Contacts area of your FanReach, they are not applied to your total contacts number when you sign up for a FanReach Pro Subscription.
Your invalid contacts do count towards both totals. You also agree to this everytime you import any contacts to FanReach. It is one of the two statements you must agree too each time.
You can avoid having invalid emails in your account by using the invite link listed as Step 2 in the Add Contacts area of FanReach. This link prevents invalids from being imported, and is proven to decrease unsubscribes. We also remind you of this link upon every import.

I really have an issue with the fact that invalid contacts go towards totals. We should not be charged for these unavailable/invalid contacts. They should either be purged from our account or they should not count towards the total. That's one of my biggest issues with your service. Please tell Lou to get on it and change this! We should not pay for contacts not available to us.

Neal! That's excellent news. Thank you very much for updating us. So Invalid and Unavailable do not count to total? Just want to confirm...
-
Correct. You will see them in the account, but when it comes time for a Fanreach upgrade or initial subscription, they won't count towards that total.

Does this policy remains the same?
I'm asking this because the last answer was one year ago.
Does Invalid, Unavailable and Unsubscribed contacts do not count to total in FanReach FREE?-
Thanks for the reply! The only contact count that counts towards your 500 free cap, or the total you pay for in FanReach Pro are the confirmed contacts! (The number in Control Room -- FanReach -- Manage Contacts)
