  • Digital Distribution is on a per release, per year basis. Each time you submit a release, you must purchase a Digital Distribution subscription. A release can be a single, an EP, an album; anything up to 50 songs. You determine the size of the release, but once you submit it, you will need to purchase an additional subscription to submit additional material. There is not currently a limit on how many Digital Distribution subscriptions you can have, so you purchase as many as necessary!

Wow they make it seem as though you can do as many releases as you want if you purchase the subscription. Very misleading.

  • I’m ripped off
I agree with MC Amara - I have used this service recently for my debut album, plus some extra songs, but now I have released a brand new single, I have to pay the whole amount again! Or the other option is to wait until I've written and recorded a new album's worth of songs. In actual fact, the extra songs I initially submitted will be on my 2nd album, as will the single, but it seems this doesn't matter - I have to pay that whole amount again? That seems ridiculously unfair.

I agree.....The deal on reverb looks really good - at first... $39/year for an album up to 50 songs!....but that's not the whole pie. Can you guys do something similar to competitors (I won't mention them here) that's fair for all involved....even just make the album available as singles or get "up to 3 new singles"...that year included...or something just outrageously good. :) Here's wishing good things for reverb. :)

  • I purchased the essentials package and released an album, but wanted to release two more, so i purchased the pro package, i have so far only been able to release one, not the two the pro package offers. I feel ive been scammed a bit here!

This seems in direct contradiction to another answer I have just read which seems to imply if you have a Pro bundle you can have up to 2 releases per year included in the subscription and pay additional subscription only on the additional releases in excess of 2. So as I read it if an artist wanted to release 3 singes and 1 album and were on a Pro package they pay the Pro subscription plus distribution for the additional 2 releases. Next year they get 2 more 'free' releases so either can release another 2 products and pay the 2 excess distribution fees from the year before OR can take the two additional releases from last year as their credits for this year and just pay the Pro subscription.

Whatever way the honest and open thing is to make these things very explicit when signing up with examples of how it will work for us as working artists. The fact that it is so confusing and so difficult to find the answer could be seen as deliberate ...

Shwew! I'm totally glad I read this post before purchasing!
Dear ReverbNation.... Please take out the language "/year" in your ads. That is VERY misleading to making us believe we get a subscription to the service of unlimited (or more than 1) upload for 1 year.

    Question:
Also.... if it's "/year", does that mean we have a recurring bill per year, to keep that album up for the next year?
