  • Great question!

While we don't have many official terms and conditions for the forum and support we do try our best to use good internet etiquette, also known as netiquette, which helps to keep the ReverbNation forum free of conflict, arguments and other pettiness so we can focus on helping the artists, labels, venues, promoters, managers, and fans that use the site.

As it is in every place good etiquette can be a very subjective but here are a few basic guidelines that can help the forum continue to be a great place to find support and answers for your ReverbNation account:

    • Be sure to clearly state your question, issue, or idea. Try to keep your post concise and simple. Make sure to include your web browser, operating system, and pertinent screen shots when possible.

    • Please do not send multiple support requests regarding the same issue. If you start a thread in the support forums please refrain from sending an email on the same topic. We have a relatively small support staff and when more than one of us responds to the same issue it can slow down response times for all users. We have approximately a one business day response time for new support requests which can be more or less depending on site traffic.

    • Avoid typing your complete message in all caps or all bold. This is the equivalent to yelling on an internet forum.

    • Read all of the posts in the thread before adding to an existing post. This will help avoid repeating points that have previously been discussed in depth.

    • Do not "hijack" forum threads. Stay on topic and avoid directing the thread away from the current line of conversation, particularly if the original poster is seeking an answer to a question. If you'd like to discuss a different issue or problem, it's best to start a new thread.

    • Avoid profanity and derogatory personal remarks about fellow forum participants and ReverbNation employees

    Basically, just be nice!

We are here to help so let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!
